CHÂTEAU L'EVANGILE 2011 - POMEROL

Château L'Evangile belongs to the Domaines Rothschild which also own the Châteaux Duhart-Milon, Rieussec and Lafite.

The 2011 vintage was marked by a fairly dry winter and early spring. The warm temperatures of spring allowed the vines to grow rapidly and the first flowers were present from the beginning of May, almost unheard of! After a hot summer, the harvest began a good fortnight in advance, the grapes were of very high quality with sublime tannins.

The Merlots were rich and dense, but the little rain reduced the quantities during the harvest. The Cabernet berries, on the other hand, were small, with thick skins, but very qualitative.

It is a powerful wine that awaits you for tasting.
