Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2010 - Feminessance - Domaine Tour Saint Michel
Label: Very slightly used
Overall condition: Excellent
The "Féminessance" cuvée is the prestige cuvée of the Tour Saint Michel estate. But don't be fooled by this very delicate name. This Châteauneuf is far removed from the rounded cuvées dominated by an overripe Grenache. Here it is the classic and tannic style that dominates. This 2010 vintage is formidable and has immense aging potential.
50% Grenache 50% Syrah
50% New barrel 50% One year barrel
We write here the information on the back label. We agree with the description except for the "great sweetness"
Purplish purple color. Very intense nose of black fruits, stewed red fruits, white fruits in syrup (peach). Floral notes (violet and white flowers), full and full mouth, great sweetness, superb volume. Beautiful fruity, floral and spicy alliance; hazelnut and peppermint finish. Great aging potential.
