Domaine Michel Chapoutier has vines on the most beautiful terroirs of the Rhône valley. And much more today thanks to its properties in the new world and throughout the French vineyard. The 350 hectares of vines have been fully biodynamically treated since 1999.

2007 is a wonderful vintage in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, more successful than the wines from the north of the Rhône valley.

This 100% Grenache Barbe Rac cuvée comes from biodynamic vines over 90 years old. Grenache being particularly sensitive to oxidation, this wine is vinified and aged in closed concrete vats. The result is a wine with notes of sweet spices, chocolate, and aromatic herbs. The palate is fleshy, full and very dense. You will be able to keep this bottle for more than 50 years without difficulty. A very great Châteauneuf!
