Presentation of the Tardieu - Laurent house

The Tardieu - Laurent house was born in 1996 from the cooperation between Michel Tardieu, lover of Rhône wines, and Dominique Laurent, a quality merchant producing great Burgundy wines. The Laurent-Tardieu house today offers a wide range of the best wines from the entire Rhône valley in white and red and some wines from the south of France, notably Bandol.

Blend of Petite Syrah and Syrah from three terroirs: Beaumes, Diognières and Greffieux.

Tasting notes February 2023:

Bottle from a Swiss cellar of a great lover of Rhône and Burgundy wines. Perfect level, the cap and capsule show a high level of humidity during storage (which does not displease us).

The first nose is very fine and delicate with notes of light spices and cedar wood suggesting a fresh mouth. And this is the case, the acidity holds up well in this wine whose tannins are perfectly blended. It offers mineral and floral aromas. A wine which falls into the category of evolved wines and which will require decanting for at least two hours before being tasted. It will pair perfectly with a rich dish which it will lighten thanks to its impressive acidity.
