The first vintage from Domaine Jamet dates from 1976. It is therefore in just a few decades that this estate has risen to the level of the best estates producing wonderful wines in the northern Côtes du Rhône. Today, Jean-Paul Jamet has succeeded his father at the head of the estate, alongside his wife Corinne and his son Loïc.
Made from an entire Syrah harvest, never destemmed and matured for 22 months in barrels in only 15% new wood, this cuvée is a blend of 20 plots, 15 of which are in lieu-dit, the Côte-Blonde is one of them.
The wines from this estate and particularly the Côtes-roties are made to age for decades. If you are a fan of very best Syrah, this opportunity will not occur frequently.
