Château Lynch Bages 1990 - 5th classified grand cru of Pauillac (Only and it's a scandal!)

At WUAT Christophe has always had a great love for Lynch Bages. It is indeed with this wine that the passion was born. We don't mess with Lynch!

Lynch has always embodied Pauillac in its purest style. Powerful and very difficult to taste in the early years, it becomes magnificent and unique with age.

1990 is clearly one of Lynch-Bages' greatest achievements. We indicate here the Château's comments on it:

July and August were near record months for the region. It was the driest in nearly thirty years, and August was the hottest since records began in 1928. In Lynch-Bages, we picked a bountiful crop. ripe and healthy grapes on September 24.

Today the wine presents a nice nose of bold cedar with good structure, it fills the palate with aromas of ripe, intense and juicy plums, blackcurrant and spices. Lynch Bages 1990 combines power and elegance and retains a potential for aging and development.
