Château Clerc-Milon 1988 - Pauillac
August 2020 tasting notes: After an hour of decanting. From the opening the aromatic is explosive, we will not lie it smells like pony, stable and barnyard. This wine is not there to flatter us! Shortly after, these aromas, not necessarily sympathetic to everyone, calmed down. In the glass, the wine is clear, with amber edges with a moderate halo. A nose of graphite, blackcurrant, saddle leather and forest floor. In the mouth, the tannins are totally melted and offer a very silky structure. The aromas of black fruits and cedar dominate. Deep flavors with a long, smooth finish.
This bottle offers exceptional value for money in the purest Pauillac style.
