Morey-St-Denis 1er cru 1988 - Henri Cosson
Level: 2 cm
Color: Perfect
Label: Perfect
You probably do not know this cuvée, unless you are a historian of Burgundy wines or a great lover of Clos des Lambrays.
The Cosson family, which produces this Morey-St-Denis, was at that time the owner of Clos des Lambrays until 1996.
The Cosson estate went upmarket at the end of the 1970s, the wines were produced with more modern techniques and with more care. It is no coincidence that Clos des Lambrays obtained the Grand Cru level in 1981.
The estate still exists today under the name Etienne Cosson.
The year 1988 being a great vintage in Morey-St-Denis, there is a good chance that this bottle, nowhere to be found today, will be a pleasant moment of tasting.
