Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Faconnières 2011 - Lignier Michelot
Located in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the great terroirs of Burgundy, on the Route des Grands Crus, the Lignier-Michelot family estate has existed for three generations and covers 12 hectares divided into around sixty plots among the best climates. from the Côte de Nuits to Morey-St-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin, Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-St-Georges.
Today it is Laure and Virgile who run it, taking the greatest care in tilling the soil, in order to promote the biodiversity and typicality of the great Burgundian terroirs. Virgile intervenes at least in the cellar to guarantee the purity and delicacy of the wines.
The vines used for this cuvée are the oldest on the estate, some are over 65 years old.
3500 bottles vinified each year with 80% whole harvest.
This cuvée is one of the emblematic cuvées of the estate, it reveals a very great terroir with a remarkable aromatic palette, and this, whatever the vintage, it is a complete and seductive wine.
