Clos de Vougeot 1984 - Henri Rebourseau
13% Alc vol
Level: 2cm
Tag: old but beautiful
Overall condition: Very good
The Parcelle of "Clos de Vougeot" of the Henri Rebourseau estate has 2.21 Ha and is located in the heart of the grand cru as you can see on the map below.
This gently sloping plot in one piece is located in the "carré d'or"(best place) of the clos. It must be said that Clos Vougeot is vast, very (too?) vast 49.25 ha, all in grand cru. Some vines located at the bottom of the hill do not benefit from as good drainage as those located higher up and produce grapes of lower quality.
Clos de Vougeot is a great pride of the Rebourseau estate. This cuvée is known for its structure and its huge aging potential.
Open at least an hour before serving in tall Bourgogne glasses if possible.
