Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru "Les Chenevery" 2003 - Alain Jeanniard
75 cl - 12.5% Alc vol
Niveau et couleur parfaits
Parfait état de conservation
Domaine Alain Jeanniard can be described as "Classic-modern". Here everything is done to let the grapes best express the characteristics of the terroir.
Spanning only 4HA, this domain practices sustainable lute. No herbicides or pesticides. Regular plowing, green harvesting, CO2 limited to the strict minimum and very light aging with only 25% new barrels produce a wine that is as natural as possible.
The wines of Jeanniard are powerful, straight, the tannins are present and hard on the young wines. These Bottles are made to age at least 10 years and to be perfect after 15 to 20 years.
The 80-year-old vines of Morey-Saint-Denis provide complexity and elegance to Chenevery.
Opinion of WUAT: Tasted in 2018 with the 2005 without having had the good idea to decant it, the wine still seemed a little too young. In no time the wine opened up to offer us spicy, mineral and animal notes. But an opening of more than two hours is necessary. A wine aimed at an informed public.
