The bottling of the Burgundian wines of the André Ziltener Company is done in Chambolle-Musigny, also the company's headquarters, because yes it is a trading house, with 50 years' experience, which offers great wines from different regions of France (Burgundy, Champagne, Loire, Languedoc,...). The company "Château André Ziltener" was founded in 1968 by Klaus-Dieter Ziltener.
The 2010 vintage is an absolute success throughout Burgundy. The particularly low yields, the great aromatic concentration of the berries and the perfect sugar / acidity balance have produced great wines for laying down. We had the chance to taste incredible 1949 Hervelets (and it's not out of snobbery) but we can assure you that, if stored well, these wines are almost immortal.
Fixin, which is pronounced "Fissin" has only 7 1er crus and no grand cru which makes it the most "discreet" village of the Côte de Nuits and that's good, take advantage of it. We had the chance to taste incredible Hervelets from 1949 (and it's not out of snobbery) but we can assure you that, if stored well, these wines are almost immortal.
