It must be said that with an average age of the vines of 40 years and a yield of 35 Hl per hectare, it is not easy to satisfy all demand.
Vinification and aging are classic with the exception of very light filtration on earth before bottling.
The 2013 vintage in Burgundy: Soft landing
A wet and rainy spring, a cool and humid summer, grapes struggling to ripen despite a beautiful month of August, in short we were off to a bad start. “luckily” the flow on grapes and the lack of maturity limited yields and increased concentration. Far from spectacular, the 2013 vintage produced many surprisingly good wines with an intense flavor profile. The reds are light and elegant with few tannins and just the right amount of acidity.
