At WUAT Christophe has always had a great love for Lynch Bages. It is indeed with this wine that the passion was born. We don't mess with Lynch!

Lynch has always embodied Pauillac in its purest style. Powerful and very difficult to taste in the early years, it becomes magnificent and unique with age.

About the vintage: 1982 is clearly one of Lynch-Bages' greatest achievements as well as many other famous Chateaux. We indicate here the Robert Parker's comments on it in 2011:

Beautifully mature with sweet, sun-drenched black currant, fig, roasted herb and loamy soil characteristics, the dark plum/garnet-colored 1982 possesses opulent, fleshy flavors and a full-bodied finish. All the tannins are resolved, the acidity is low and this deliciously savory, rich wine is in full bloom.

Exceptional provenance: These bottles come from a cellar of a great Swiss enthusiast and collector. We have acquired the complete collection containing more than 200 bottles of mainly French and Italian wines. The bottles were all preserved following their purchase en primeur or shortly after their marketing on site, in a natural cellar buried under a 16th century convent. A damp cellar, which is why some labels are very worn. The levels are generally excellent or perfect and the most "fragile" bottles reflect storage in total darkness for more than 30 years!
