Château Cantenac-Brown was founded more than 200 years ago by a Scot, John-Lewis Brown.
Its taste for excellence allows it to position itself among the greatest vintages: 3rd grand cru classé 1855
The property's crest bears witness to its Scottish ancestry, as does its superb Tudor-style castle.
At the tasting, although less imposing than previous vintages, this 2013 vintage is not lacking in substance! The color is dark and intense, the nose superb, on spices, coffee, due to the stay of fifteen months in barrel, then notes of red fruits with floral and minty touches are felt. On the palate, the wine is dense and spicy with a beautiful maturity of the grapes, the tannins are coated and support a finish of very good length. An expressive and harmonious wine, a great success for the château!
