The LeJeune estate, located in Pommard, has 7 ha of vines. The estate's cellar was completely rebuilt in 1992.
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir cuvée from the LeJeune estate is the estate's "flagship" wine. Favorite of the Hachette wine guide, this 1998 vintage should still keep its promises more than twenty years later. This bottle is aimed at an audience of old wine lovers.
Aging for 12 months in 228 liter barrels (obviously we are in Burgundy), 5% of which are new barrels.
Tasting advice: Open and pour directly into tall glasses or a carafe, let the wine breathe for half an hour before tasting.
